Stacked bar chart representation of traditional food’s popularity by district. Popularity of a food was rated by respondents assigning 10 for the most popular food. Cultural and social values were the main criteria that the respondents used to rank the food besides its economic and nutritional benefits. In Erob district, Giezm was ranked as the most popular traditional food of Erob ethnic group. In Saesi Tsadamba, Atsbi Wonberta, and Adigrat districts, Tihelo was ranked as the most popular traditional food of the community
